(I)solation

This project was started as a way to keep myself busy during the quarantine of the Covid-19 pandemic. Being quarantined I found myself spending day and night with myself and falling into what seemed like isolation. I wanted to create this project to reflect how I was spending this time with myself. Like many others around the world, I was forced to spend my days with myself in my home. I have never spent so much time not interacting with others in person. This gave me time to explore who I am as a person and get to know myself. This project exists as an exploration of my time spent in “Isolation,” something that looks different for everyone. In order to do this many of the images are composed with two versions of me while others have traces of two beings.
