Elizarose Machado was born in Rhode Island and is currently based in New York City. She got her BFA in photography from Lesley University, College of Art & Design. Machado's work uses video, audio, and still images. Her most recent project is a sensory installation that activates the body and asks participants to negotiate themselves, their mind and body, and how they are feeling in the environment. Elizarose Machado is conceptually interested in the body responding to environments and society functions. Alongside making conceptual projects she also enjoys food and product photography. Her work has been exhibited in "Rough Edges", Gallery South, Lesley University, Cambridge, MA in 2020 and "Fever Dream", Gallery South, Lesley University, Cambridge, MA in 2021. In 2022 her Untitled Sensory Installation was exhibited in Raizes & Roberts Gallery, Cambridge MA for the show "Echoes & Alterations."
